What I am looking for

My situation is that upstairs is my main media room. I have a theater room setup, and an equipment rack. From that, I feed the theater room and also my bedroom.

Downstairs, I have a nice 50" HDTV. I of course am unable to watch any of my recorded content upstairs as multi room viewing has yet to be enabled.

comcast also has no growth in HD as of yet.

Which dbs provider is going to be able to provide me with lots of HD, and the abilty to stream from one receiver to another somewhere in the house over ethernet.

That's my Nirvana.

What you ask isn't available (yet). I assume that they all are working on such a device though.

SciAtl (the cable box provider for various cable companies) has boxes that have multi-room DVR.

I would just wonder if the Motorola boxes they use are the only box they offer.

The only answer I know of is with FiOS or U-Verse... I know FiOS offers what you're looking for, for sure. I think U-Verse offers it as well.

It's the Motorolla 6416 HD DVR box with MRDVR capabilities.
