YES HD AND SNY HD (spotbeam)!

Edit: [Tom Robertson] OP now receives these channels now that he also receives the spotbeam he previously could not. Rather than totally deleting the thread, I've left the OP and a few posts, the last being a question for help that I did not wish to delete. I know the power of the many great users here; we'll help anyone who needs it!

Sorry if anyone already mentioned this. But all I am reading is that DirecTV did not add any new HD today. This is NOT the case. They did add YES HD (Full time) and SNY HD today. (UPDATE: as discussed in this thread; they were previously Spotbeam, which I did not get. I started getting them as of today.)

They are using the same channel number as promised. The guide shows

622 YES
622 YESH

625 SNY
625 SNYH

However, the receiver does not automatically pick the HD version. The default is still the SD. You will have to pick the HD yourself. It is a start!:D

P.S. YES HD was NOT previously available FULL TIME. They only showed the games like NFL Network.

That would explain it. I NEVER got my Spotbeams before (long story). Thank you, I am not going crazy!

Those two channels have been available for several days. I added them to my Favorites List last week. FWIW.

As usual, not all the programming is HD, but, hey, it's a start.

You have the Premier package and you can't get Channel 622? Am I reading that right ?
