The guy came to install the free second dish for our additional locals today. Dish told us he would be here in between 8-noon. As soon as 8AM hit he called from the road asking for directions, by 8:15 he was here. I thought he was going to replace the 2 duals on the Dish 500 with a twin and reroute everything through our existing 2 SW21s. But luckily he replaced the 2 SW21s with a SW64. The switch that was connected to my moms receiver was going bad, she couldn't get even tps on 110, and locals are on TP 8 and 10. So it was great that we saved $30 not having to replace the 21 and plus we're ready for a 721 if/when the prices come down. The dish for 61.5, is a dual, 18" old style E* dish. My antenna farm is beginning to grow, hopefully, by next year this time there will be a BEV dish up there :)
And now since my mom can get the locals w/o a slew of errors, I have here rabbit ears and connected them to the UHF antenna input, Now I can be basically anywhere on our property and still control my 501. :cool:
If anyone from Dish reads this, I just wanna let you know, your boys from Intertech Digital here in the Western NY area are great!
