I just ran a signal strength test on my newly installed system, and I have some puzzling results. The values are all high (mostly 97-100) except for the middle values on each line which are really low, except for one.
It looks like this for sat 101*
Tuner 1:
1-8 97 98 98 28 97 98 100 99
9-16 97 100 97 0 97 100 97 100
17-24 95 100 95 0 96 100 95 100
25-32 95 98 91 100 94 99 94 100
Tuner 2:
1-8 97 99 0 25 97 100 96 99
9-16 97 100 97 0 97 100 96 100
17-24 95 100 95 0 96 100 95 100
25-32 95 97 92 100 95 99 94 100
What's the deal with most of the values being fine, but only a few being 0 or 20's? I have a perfectly clear view of the birds, and just had a professional install 2 days ago. Is this something I need to get a technician back out to look at (bad LNB or multiswitch)?
Thanks,
BP
