Any idea when Sunday Ticket is reduced?

I am regretting not renewing this year. Doesn't D* usually reduce the price at some point in the season? I am considering adding it in the 2nd week of October along with Superfan.

Reduced rates normally occur around week seven or week eight. Half season offer. Not sure what D* may offer this year.

I would give them a call and see what kind of deal you can get. There are many people on this forum that have gotten substantial discounts on the sunday ticket, just by asking for them (including myself).

Usually past the halfway point they start advertising the half season deal which runs something like $159-$179 (more then half the original price).

Personally if you really want it then call them up and see if you can get the new subscriber deal (or any other deal you can think of), you've only missed 2 weeks so far. And talk to retention and mention the great deal you'll get from Comcast to switch. You'll have more leverage then many since you don't actually have Sunday Ticket right now.

Look for the discount around Oct. 30th. It isn't much of a discount, though...:(

What is really tempting me now is the RedZone channel in HD. That would be awesome in my home theater.

I thought I would let people know that I received a flyer in the mail yesterday offering Sunday Ticket for 5 payments of $28 with Superfan added for free.
