    Hello Mike, My name is Don. It looks as if you have a good amount of experiance with these systems. If you don't mind, I have a question or two about ongoing service of Headend accounts. I have been a satellite retailer for 12 years. I am currently a Dish and Directv retailer. I had Holland build a 15 channel system for a 103 drop nursing home and completed the installation yesterday. I have been informed that the customer owns 4 similar facilities and wants to switch them all over to Dish.

    The question I have for you is, Is there a standard "Service Contract" for MDU Headend customers? While the headend equipment I installed carries a 5 year warranty and the receivers 1 year, I dropped the ball on discussing with the customer the ongoing service aspect of the job. I warranty my satellite installs for 180 days, but what about a failed Headend component? This customer owns all of the equipment including the receivers.
