Tech is here putting in the 4K install. He says only way to get 4K is with the Ck61K and the RVU app is not for .
So I have him installing it now and will move to RVU later. Now once he leaves, how do I get the RVU pin to activate? App is already installed on my LG B6.
Just call Directv and tell them that you want to add an RVU ready TV to your account. If thay don't know what you are talking about, which is what happened to me a couple of weeks ago (she asked if it had anything to do with a motor home), ask to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor knew exactly what I was talking about and helped me immediately. They will want to know the MAC address of your TV. It should be viewable in a settings menu of the TV.

The pin will show up on your HR54 when you add a new client through the menu. However, you will will be stopped from adding a new client because you are only authorized for 1 client. You may be able to remove the C61K via the same HR54 menu and then add the RVU TV without calling Directv. I'm not sure.
If you are able to do that, you need to make sure that DirecTV knows that you've replaced the C61K with an RVU TV and don't remove a client from your account.

No need to call if it's a hr54. Just go to the settings in the hr54 and to the whole home Section and add client. And then chose to replace the c61k. Then store the c61k just in case. Only the hs17 do you have to call in since it's the only one that actually tracks specific clients.
Channel 104 has Movies and Original Series. Channel 105 has Movies and Events. Channel 106 has Live Events and that is where the upcoming Garth Brooks Concert is.
Channel 105 is a 4K PPV channel. If you didn't make a purchase that message is normal. Also, you should now see the 4K UHD Programs App in the Search & Browse menu.
Its all fixed. Called in to a CSR. They deleted the C61K and added my LG B6 with the MAC address. No shows up in my account.
