Is it being used in Single or Dual user Mode? If in dual mode, is Shared View Enabled?
  2. General DISH™ Discussion
    What receiver are you using?
  3. General DISH™ Discussion
Dish has never carried Comcast Sports Net in Philadelphia either.
  4. General DISH™ Discussion
Dish Network and Sling tv are two different companies. Dish would need it's own consent contract to provide the channel on it's service.
  5. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
Setting for Dish and Direct are usually not the same and the tv should be adjusted to get the best quality for the source.

You can get the colon if you search by using the guide and removing all wording after the colon.
  7. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
Is this a Dish receiver. If not, which.
  8. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
Actually, unless you have international channels, 77 would not be needed. Dish has a dish for just 61.5 and 72 sats and would be all that is needed.
  9. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
I'm not sure if you would be getting any HD channels if they haven't been turned on except for maybe promo channels of any that may be in Free Preview. Usually you have have your locals in HD, but they seem to be only on 61.5 which you do not have. Chances are Dish would have to switch out your...

Several of the dma's that have MeTV are due to the channel being already carried by Dish and switched over. Not all but several. Dish would add a National feed if they could but most of the MeTV stations are owned by different companies across the US and that means independent contracts.

If the eyes are not evenly spaced (which I suspect is the case here) I would go to dishpointer.com and use the setting for the multi-dish for 61.5, 72 and 77. You should only need one coax run to the receiver and use a DPP separator to feed both receiver inputs. The separator usually comes with...
  12. DIRECTV General Discussion
Shouldn't this be posted in the Direct tv forum and not the one for Dish Network?

It's never been in HD on Dish. No idea if or when it will be.
  15. ViP211(411)/211K/222 Support Forum
I just wanted to point out that it could be leased since it is the first post by the OP. And there was no mention of lease or purchase by OP. And don't forget that Dish has on occasion has the receivers tagged incorrectly.

Also, make sure the current 211 is owned by you. If it is not, it belongs to Dish and you will be required to sent it back to Dish. If you sell it, Dish will charge you full retail price and person who buy it will not be able to active it.

Personally if you record a lot, I'd go with HWS and SuperJoey and OTA which will give you five sat tuners and OTA for total of six (more with PTAT). And you can have third tv and fourth tv connected via computer, ipad, smart phone using sling along with ability to transfer recordings to the ipad...
  18. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
It is possible you could be off about 10 degrees, if you cover the two outer lnb's on the dish, you should lose 110. If you only lose 110 then your dish will only need a slight adjustment. If however you lose 119 your aim would be off 10 degrees as you would be receiving 110 via the 119 lnb and...
  19. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
When standing behind the dish, 61.5 is on the left. Also, have you made certain that the arm the dish is mounted on is level, making sure you check various sides (left, right, front and back)? Front or back with left or right side should be enough to make sure the arm is absolutely plumb.
  20. DISH™ High Definition Discussion
It can work even though the lnb's are not spaced correctly. The check switch is failing for 61.5 due to the ss being too low, It requires a lot of effort but you should be able to get a stronger signal.
