    Try this; Running the comand prompt on your vista system; Type in "ipconfig /all" without the quotes and see if it is seeing the router. Usaully it is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.01. Next if the above checks out ok. then; Check the network settings on your HR2* unit and set them to what ipconfig...

    Will a sat dish work upside down ? Here is what I am thinking; (1) I would like to keep my HD DTV dish just like it is. (2) Add an arm on top with the lnb's facing down. If it is possible then one can have DTV and FTA on the same dish. So what do you thick ?

    The HR20-700 was the Tivo HR10-250 killer, but stay tuned... The witch next store to me said that Tivo is working with DTV on a new Tivo-HD. Tivo4PRO-HD will be the HR20-700 killer!!!! All joking aside,,, The HR20,21, ETC... are old news anyway. Your average unit is only good for a year...

    Harmony makes a few peanut remotes that will fit your needs. Searh for "Harmony" here and you will see all kinds of ideas.

    There is calibration software that you can use for your TV and Sound system. The one that I use is Avia. If you have your equipment calibrated, it will make a magor differants!!!

    I beg to differ. Tivo has a HD stand-a-lone unit model S3. But it is a $700.00 paper weight. HR20 cost is $0 to $199 and is made for sat peeps with great support!! Tivo S3 cost is $700 and up with mager problems, worthless to sat peeps.

    I think this my be an HR20 problem on the east coast. I use the Philly beam. It seams the lower the band (channel number) the worse it gets. Channel 6 WPVI-ABC here is in and out from day one. All my transponders on 99 and 103 are in the high 90's. I believe D* knows this and are trying to fix...
