I have had YouTubeTV for six months now, replacing FiOS TV. I am saving a lot of money and am very happy with the cloud DVR. Yes, it's a little more complicated changing channels than FiOS was, but I quickly got used to the extra clicks required. I haven't had any problems with picture freezing...
  2. DIRECTV Programming
I have had no problems streaming college football games on YouTube TV. Pause, rewind, and fast forward work well.

I don't know. I think you have to ask HBO Max. Bill
  4. DIRECTV General Discussion
Not everything. 8 pm shows on east feeds show at 5 pm on west. Works fine, though, if you want to watch late night shows.

It's only a comic strip, but I'd like to know what nine streaming services Rat gets for $200/month. I think he's overpaying a lot...

I signed up for three free months of Apple TV+ today so we could watch the Peanuts Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas shows as well as Louis Armstrong special. And I'll be looking for others between now and February.

Both my 2-year-old desktop and new laptop are running Windows 11. I also have a 12-year-old laptop that is now running Linux. I also have an iPad and iPhone. I'm reasonably happy with all of these.

Streaming has worked well for us for several years with Netflix, Prime Video, Acorn, Disney+, and Paramount+. I do have a high-speed internet connection but am still using my Frontier-supplied router. YouTube TV has been solid since I switched to the service in June.

I have been streaming college football games for the past two weeks on YouTubeTV. It works very well on my Roku TV set. I also stream Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Acorn, MLB and Peacock with no problems. I am not a pro football fan, so I did not watch the Chargers game on Thursday.
  13. TV Show Talk
I haven't watched an NBC show other than Notre Dame football in the last few years. I am not interested in their reality programming at all.
  14. TV Show Talk
Fox has always ended prime time at 10 PM. Giving that hour back to locals and putting the late show on at 11 seems like a promising idea for NBC.
  15. Internet Streaming Services
I did not renew my HBO Max subscription. The annual price went up to $169.
  16. DIRECTV Programming
I have been streaming Acorn TV for several years on my Roku TV with no problems at all. Great British, Canadian, and Australian shows with no commercials.
  17. Internet Streaming Services
Wednesday my Roku TV offered the YouTube TV app for installation. I was amazed that they made the channel available just a day after the agreement with Google.
  18. Internet Streaming Services
I have a Roku TV set and will wait to see if Roku and YouTube come to some sort of agreement.
  19. Internet Streaming Services
YouTube TV apparently will no longer work with Roku TV or Roku sticks since latest Roku OS update.
