I see via Direct Cinema Plus that ANY 1080p program will cost at least $4.00. Then I found out that even though my HR 20 shows the 1080p as a Resolution option, according to a CSR, no DVR receiver except the HR 24 actually outputs 1080p! They say that even if I downloaded free 1080p On Demand movies, I would not be watching them in true 1080p because I have a HR 20. I thought it was software dependent and if I had chosen the 1080p option, then I am watching 1080p! So, doesn't look like Direct TV can help me with 1080p even though my Vizio is 1080p capable. So will NOT be ordering ANY 1080p movies -- but will just invest in a Blue Ray and rent 1080p movies -- maybe via Netflix. May as well cancel premiums also.
