129 line of site in Southern California???

    Does anyone have a problem getting line of site to sat. 129 from the Southern California area?

    No, 129 is much higher than 61.5 and other than the fact that this is a older sat putting out poor signal strength it is fine. That said what are you seeing in your way? Trees, buildings, cliffs, mountains?

    I had a palm tree blocking mine until we placed a separate dish for 129 on the garage. Pretty strong now.

    Signal strength is much lower on 129 as compaired to 110/119. If you are concerned about rain fade you might want to consider using a larger dish.

    Not sure if it helps, but I'm in Stockton and I get a fairly high signal (98)

    I am in North Orange county and I was able to find it. Was a little tricky but my pole where my Dish is hooked into is a little bent. I bet in the mid 70s on average for 129.

    Should have indicated I have a Dish1000

    With the bigger Dish I average in the 90s.
