and these conversations that I have had, have been in the past 3 weeks.. just as training camps were opening, and since "budget BuD" was supposed to have lifted all these "bans on baseball"...

trust me.. I still only get one team..

"Move" your service address to a place across the river, have your "previous" address stay as your billing address. Problem solved. When the Dodgers were on KTLA, and while we also still maintained local basic cable, so my wife didn't have to time shift everything, I paid for my "dad's" satellite service for about 6 years, while I "lived" in Indiana;)

I live just outside milwaukee, and have always been able to get Brewers games on FSN WI (669 & 669-1). But for some reason pre-season games don't seem to exist there. I have seen 2 games listed as being on MLB Network (213), inlcuding one right now, except they say they are blacked out on 213.

According to MLB.com, I should be able to watch on fsn, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Spent 45 min on phone with directv until they basically gave up and claimed "It's a broadcasting issue with MLB network that is affecting 213 and 669.... Have a nice day."

WTF... this better be fixed by wednesday.

Will I be blacked out of Yes Yankee games when the MLB network shows the Yankees the same time? I'm out of the Yankee DMA but I'm an EI sub.

Since your out of the NY area, you'd probably have to watch the game on MLB.

I was afraid of that answer. I'm sure the MLB Network will do their share of Yankee games too. Yuck! Thanks Jimmy.

yep. That fixed my problem here in northeast Iowa about an hour south of LaCrosse. I have the LaCrosse locals and my parents live in the Brewers market. I live 2 miles across the river and somehow that's the Cubs market. So I "moved" and now have no problems.

the LaCrosse market is in HD now, so I don't get why this is a problem.

Minnesota Twins market (either the team, the FSN, or the local stations with rights) up there sucks.

I just tried to watch a 2008 game (yep, almost a YEAR OLD) of the Brewers vs Twins, on FSNorth, and it was BLACKED OUT. I called DirecTv and they were so totally clueless it wasnt funny. They had NO IDEA why this game, a year old, with no local broadcast rights in Arkansas, would be blacked out on a channel I pay to see.

I just considered the team, and figured I was hitting my head against a brick. The twins obviously just dont want anyone to watch them. Ill be happy to oblige.

I can't believe NESN is blacking out "Red Sox Reloaded - 2009 Boston Red Sox Preview" on right now. Don't they want their fans outside of Boston to know about their team? Whats the point of MLBEI and the sports pack if even these type of shows are blacked out?

That's true of any team airing "classic" or replays of games. You'll get blacked out unless your within their territory. It's an MLB thing, not a D* deal. However for some reason Yankee Classics on YES are never blacked out. I still can't figure that one out.

The NATS replays on MASN are in the open a lot ! I've seen quite a few of those up here in Jersey.

MLB Network this afternoon was reairing Boston's hour long season preview.

I've been told that with the Sports Pack, I should be in the clear for Royals games, but i'll believe it when the free preview of EI has come and gone.

Nope. You need EI to see any out of market broadcast of a baseball game.

That depends on if Des Moines is considered in market or out of market for the Royals though.

I don't want to give up my SD distant networks.. that's why I can't "move"..
I don't get the LaCrosse Locals, they weren't offered when I started with Directv.. so when they were offered, they didn't give them to me.. because they were on the 72.5 dish.. now they are off that dish.. but I still don't have the locals.. and I love the distants..

I'm probably in the wrong thread but I wonder why I am seeing the Joe Girardi Show and Yankeeography on YES today(1PM). Usually this is blacked out for us subs outside the NY DMA. Anyone else seeing this?
