I was just on the D* website and noticed that the price for NFL-ST is 279.95 for the early bird. Dose anyone know if this price includes Super Fan or is Suer fan a thing of the past? The reason i ask is that i didn't see any info on SF.

Who knows, but I would be shocked if SuperFan went away like it has for MLB. Happy, but shocked. I think it's normal for SuperFan to not be available this FAR from the start of the season.

Superfan info wasn't on DirecTV's website until near July 1st the past couple years. Usually the info goes up shortly before their big summer/fall deal they do for ST.

I called D* and got NFL Superfan free last season. I told them i refuse to pay an extra $99 when I already have HD Access. The time is soon going to have to come when D* has to eventually drop that HD Access Charge of $10 a month when HD becomes more the standard. If you think about it they are nickle and diming us HD customers right now for that extra $10 a month. If it wasn't for 2 things MLB Extra Innings, and NFL Sunday Ticket, I would drop DirecTv in a heartbeat and get FIOS.

    The typical schedule:

    Jan-Feb: Easy Pay plans available
    Mar-July: Early bird available
    Aug-Oct: Yearly new sub special

Around the NFL Draft (late April) there is sometimes a special that includes Superfan.
Usually early June Superfan goes up for order.
End of July thru Oct is the yearly special for new subs, usually pay for ST full price and get Superfan and 4 months of Premier included for free.

Pretty been that for years so I'd assume it will be the same this year.

Every year DirecTV has offered the NFL package with the premiere for $75 bucks/ 4 payments, I've called to ask for that offer, received it, and also asked for and received the superfan for free. The key, I think, is calling at the end of football season to make sure it is not autorenewed.

Sure beats paying $380 just for football...;)
