We have 1 more season of this crap. Y'all have to watch the Yankees and there's no other choice. Fox thinks that if you don't get to see your team, then at least you'll settle for "some baseball." Show them they're wrong by going out and mowing the lawn instead. That's what I will do today. I have Extra Innings to watch all of the Rangers games and I don't get to see them today because my local Fox seems to think that everyone here wants to see the Giants, so Rangers fans can go suck a lemon.

The contract changes next year and I believe Fox must make all of these regional games available to everyone.

Next year will have a combined package too if I were to take a guess from the survey we filled out this winter.

MLB.TV and Extra innings for one price that is reasonable.

I really hope they do that. All the other sports packs do that. Stupid that MLB doesn't so that would be a welcome addition.

Not all others ... NBA LP does, but NFL & NHL cost extra.

On the phone w Directv now. They are quoting $225 for MLB. Wha??

And all their commercials are stating that MLB is at its lowest price in years. Um...don't think so...

the lowest price in 5 years is a joke! I called yesterday to see about adding it back as a new MLB subscriber again and was quoted $229 or 5 payments of $40. I was offered a slightly better deal last week before I cancelled it. I was hoping for a better deal and that's why I called to cancel. My loss. :(

But sometimes you gotta roll the hard six... :D

Why would you do that? Isn't the early bird always cheaper for these packages?

It was the lowest if you subscribed before the season.

I know it's cheaper to renew every year but not that much cheaper. I called in before the season started to try and get some kind of renewal special since I was considering trying out MLB.tv this year and that is cheaper. But all I was offered was $30 off. Regretting the decision to cancel it now.

I love this sports package. Actually it's worth $200 per season for the fantastic product you get. Guess I'll roll the dice and call back!

They also no longer have the 'free' offer for new customers.

just got off the phone after literally 7 reps and a bunch of morons. took an hour and 20 mins, but i got Extra Innings for $225 for the full season WITH $170 credits (that are already on my account, i checked)......so $55.

a regular rep did it after i told her i've been on the phone for an hour with some moron, last week i was quoted $23.99 x 6 or $140. She said she can't do that but she can do $170 in credits if i agree to do it all at once for $225, which will make it $55, i was like OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Hahahah, awesome.

A couple months ago, this package showed on my bill at $220.00, broken down into 4 payments of $55 each, so I canceled it. A couple weeks ago, the same thing. Today I called, asked the rep how many hearts I had, joked a bit about that, and chatted a little, asking her if there was anything she could do about this package's price. I was then told this, I kid you not:

I politely argued with the person, explaining that that wasn't any kind of special offer. Her reply?

Suffice it to say that this 5-heart, 17-year customer is not happy.

I am shocked that I am struggling so badly to find someone that can remotely give me a deal. I don't mean a big deal either but I can't get anyone to get off the regular price
