210-1 ESPN ALT HD hear to say??

Look like it will be used for HD world cup with multi language audio.

Will it be there after world cup for other EPSN alt / blackout HD feeds?

To "stay".. no... If it is a -1 channel and it is not an OTA, it is an alternate temporary channel.

Untrue, scroll through the 600s and 700s. The game only HD channels are all -1.

Yes.. True... "game-only" HD channels, are treated as alternate channels.
They may be on for a long time... but they are not permanent.

Please please leave it on after the world cup. The reverse mirror for college football is way to painful to watch in SD

Hmm... this seems to open the possibility that the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals won't be relegated to standard def this year...

I bet they'll put them on ESPNU due to the World Cup.

I think what he was asking is whether or not the ESPN Alt channel is going to be HD in the future. In the past ESPN has never provided its Alt feeds in HD (for instance the college football reverse mirror games). It would be a HUGE improvement for college football season if the ESPN Alt channels were in HD now.

I'll still be surprised if the Super Regional alternate feeds are in HD but I'd like to hope.
