Can is use a regular 4x8 switch for use with the new 5LNB? I assume it is not a different.

    Thanks!

No, you can't. Yes, it is different. The multiswitch has to pass a much wider bandwidth-thus the WB68 designation.

You can use a 4*8 if you dont have a h10 or hr20 in your system. I have a customer that it is working for fine.

    You mean H20 or HR20.

OK, strictly speaking, you can use a 4x8 multiswitch with a 5 LNB dish, but why would you? You'd just have to rip it out when you wanted to go with MPEG4 channels, so why not future-proof yourself and put the right switch in now?
