Anyone recognize this????
No, it almost looks like my old Harmony remote.
That would be my guess as well.
That's the first Harmony remote that was released in the US. They were displaying at the CES Show and I ordered one at the show. At that time they were based in Canada and, obviously, were not owned by Logitec. There's not even a model number anywhere on the unit. Functions were selected by a scroll wheel on the side of the unit. The screen is at the bottom, not the top (could be a real pain to deal with). I removed the Harmony "H" logo in Photoshop, but the same logo as their current one is at the bottom. I have two of them here because one died soon after arriving home and they replaced it for me (great customer service). Neither one will fire up now if I put batteries in them. I don't have any idea why though. I think i bought this in 2001 if I recall correctly.
Isn't funny the way things change over time?
I'm sure the Smithsonian people will be calling you very soon.
Yeah, maybe they'll put it on one of their shows on their HD Channel, eh?!
How much did that original remote cost?(if you dont mind me asking)
If I recall correctly it was between $200 and $300. It was much clunkier than current designs, but, obviously had great potential.
That is what they still cost...so no headway.
Ah, but they are much better now.
Recognize it? - I HAVE one!
Yeah, but where's the value when the novalty wears off?
Amazing. I knew someone else had to have one. Does yours still work?
