Account Wind-Down / Proper procedure to make sure my owned receiver stays owned?

    I'm in the process of moving and my new place I can't receive DirecTV. I have 1 owned and 2 leased receivers in my setup and want to make sure that when I cancel the service they don't look for all 3 to be sent back. Is there a definite "this works" process I can follow to make sure this goes smoothly?

    it's likely that the owned ird is not one they will want back

    Call DirecTV and talk to th access card dept. they can definitely lead you in the right direction
