    This is my post from earlier today on the now-closed 8/21 thread. The same scenario has happened since I posted this btw.

    * Client: AIR 1.0.0
    * Computer: MacBook Pro Core2Duo 2.16Ghz 3GB RAM
    * OS: OS X 10.5.4
    * ISP: AT&T DSL 6.0

    Updated the client this morning and now streaming Sportscenter on the RZC. Don't know how long it will last given my poor network streaming performance at work.

    EDIT: Timed out sometime between 4 and 5 minutes. I hate my work ISP right now - blech. Fortunately, I will not be at work when NFL games are being played this season.

    * AIR Client 1.0.0
    * Computer OS - Vista HP32 w/Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, 3.0GB RAM on HPm8167c
    * ISP - Cox
    * ISP Speeds ~6MB/~1MB

    AIR working well on all channels except BAL BUF.

    Unlike yesterday when AIR and the WWWs seemed nearly in sync, lag times are crazy today. WWW IE7 is running 5 seconds ahead of AIR on the RZC and AIR is running about 9 seconds ahead of WWW Firefox.

    EDIT: Was able to catch Firefox closer to IE7 by clikcing away from and then back to RZC.

    I cannot stream both of these computers at the same time. I get choppy results. These computers are on the same Network and using 100 Mbps connection. They are about 150 yards from the server. The AIR Client runs fine on each computer as long as I don't have the App running on both computers.

    AIR Client 1.0.0
    Power Mac G5 (dual-core 2.3GHz, 4.5 GB RAM)
    Mac OS X 10.5.4
    Cablevision Optimum Online 30mbps/5m

    Working great so far! Video changes channels -much- quicker than before. At the start of the field trial, I thought the WWW client was the way to go, because the AIR client was so buggy. (Very nice, just checked and I can get back to windowed mode from full-screen now.. nice!)

    That's changed, although Supercast is moderately more CPU-intensive than the WWW client.

    Supercast is using between 90-95% of one of the CPU cores. Safari is using around 66% of the other core for the WWW client.

    Just updated the AIR client on my laptop.It is streaming the west coast feed of the FOX network affiliate from L.A. ( FOX 11 ).
    PQ looks very good,but seeing brief stuttering/pausing of the stream.

    * ISP - AT&T DSL Xtreme
    * ISP Speeds 6MB/sec down

    Downloaded the new client earlier, but now I can't get it to launch... It just hangs at the splash screen... It's been hung there for at least 4 minutes... Will try rebooting...
