Once again I'm having problems with ESPN 206 (771 error and picture freeze). While the problem is happening I check the 99c signal levels and all transponders read in the 90s. It is happening on all three 20-700s. Does this still sound like an an alignment problem or is it 29B?

Unless Directv has moved it recently, ESPN is on 103c (or b, depending on the receiver).

Really? I thought I saw a chart that showed it on 99c for the MPEG4 feed.

Call and and get someone to look at the alignment. I was having the same problem on ESPN, ESPN2 and TNT. Tech came and fixed it and no problems now!

As I said, I don't really keep up with what channels are where but I do know ESPN was in MPEG4 before the launch of D11 (99c).

I've hesitated because the problem is intermittent and it is likely to be working when the tech arrives. I will check 103c when it happens again to see if there are signal level problems. So far, every transponder on all tuners read in the mid 90s whenever I check them.

ESPNHD (ch 206) is on 99c transponder 3.

OMG, guys, I'm sorry. My brain apparently isn't working right this morning. ESPN was moved to the 99 with the other, older MPEG2 HD when D11 first went online. It was never on the 103. What the hell was I thinking? :bang

Narrod, sorry for any confusion I may have caused you.

That's what I thought. This morning when the problem was occurring I checked 99C and had mid 90 readings on all transponders and both tuners. Does this sound like an alignment issue?

Right now at 5:42am Eastern I've no signal on 206 and getting the 771 error. My 99c reading are 89 to 95. This is not an alignment issue.

It's 7.19am central here and ESPN 206 is fine for me on all my receivers/DVRs.
