I called at at 6:30pm to order the PPV for the big fight and was told the systems were down(?). I was told to use the automated system. After 3 failed attempts with the automated system I tried the web site. It is dead. It took more than 10 minutes for part of the homepage to load. Now it won't load at all.

    Now (between 7:00pm and 7:30pm) when I call 800-531-5000 I'm getting a fast busy.

I would order it from the TV, but keep getting a message about the phone line, yet when I run a test the phone line comes back just fine. After several resets I'm stuck in the mud.

    Meh.

Good thing DTV charged extra for ch 98 to make sure all systems were up and running smoothly.

Neither phone is fast busy signal if I can even get through to that, and the website seems like it crashed, I guess I shouldn't have waited for the nascar race to be rained out before I ordered :(

I've only tried the 800-531-5000, but get a fast busy from both my land line and cell phone.

    Arrrrgh.

    Do they have another number?

    I generally use 1-800-DIRECTV (1-800-347-3288) or sometimes 1-800-353-4388.

Thanks! However, I'm still getting fast busy even on those two numbers.

Between this, my install problems, and losing the dual buffers on my dual tuners when I upgraded to the H20 from a Series2, I think I'm going to cancel my DirectTV.

Ordered the fight via remote about an hour ago. No problems now watching the HD feed.

Ahh...I got through on the 1-800-353-4388 number, made my way to the end of the automated system, and was kicked off with a fast buys.

Maybe I'll get lucky at some point....

just got through and ordered via the automated system. never ordered PPV from D* before, guess this teaches me for not being able to decide earlier in the day. $1.50 penalty well deserved, lol.

    BTW another # is 1800Directv

Yeah, no numbers are working for me either, I just get busy signal. This is from both my land phone and my 2 cell phones.

I wonder who tripped on the power cord. It's very odd that an entire phone system would go down at DirecTV, but if their entire system took a dump, it would be logical, they took the phones off the hook - this may be their choice, but it's VERY poor customer service.

I'm not sure what has happened, I hope someone lets us know. Very disappointing night tonight for me, my Braves are losing to the dogers :( Richmond race rained out :( and now I can't even pay 10 dollars more than the rest of the free world to see a fight in HD tonight :( I really wish Directv would take my money

Yeah 98 93 and 123 all show the Error 732 message. Weird thing is every other pay per view will let me order.

I sarted trying to order around 8:30 pm ET until about 9:50 pm Time to give up I guess.

I thought about that earlier, and went through the process of setting the budget to 100.00, and setting up the parental controls, to no avail. :( still continue to get the 732 error, its weird in that it doesn't even try to dial out or anything.
