Hot damn.......now this is going to be incredible. I knew staying with CM5.0.08-N1 (and other CM roms) would be worth the wait. I tried several Froyo incarnations but just couldn't give up the great features of CyanogenMods Roms. Now I'll be able to have the best of both worlds.
Rooted Nexus1/Android users keep checking here for the newest Rom of roms: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=559

Turns out Cyanogen is already on it: http://twitter.com/cyanogen

I really hope that AT&T Nexus One owners won't be somehow shafted. If so, I'm dumping it for the iPhone. Google has released the source code for Android 2.2, the latest version of their mobile operating system. This means that Android phone manufacturers will start working on their upgrades for their phones now.

I don't run the standard "official" OS on my N1, right now I have a Kang-O-Rama rom running and it has more features than the official 2.1. I also have several cooked versions of Froyo2.2 downloaded to my phone, just haven't had time to flash them and play with the new stuff.
