Are you talking about WCBS? I'm in NJ and I can tune to it fine.

Sorry, just edited the post. Yes, WCBS. So that's 2, but also 4,5,7 are not coming in.

BTW, the low def version comes in fine, the HD version does not.

As I have previously posted, I to have started having trouble with all my mpeg4 NYC locals since around thursday I think. I can't yet post URL links, but a search should lead you to my post were you can see details of my problem and steps I have taken to try and resolve ( with no success).

I did start to get a weak signal on what I assume is the offending satellite/transponder ( It is the only one that has changed since the problem started sat99B trans 3. It started to get up to around 15 and gave me a very pixelated picture, but now is right back to 0.

I am beginning to think because of the recent posts such as yours that there is a issue with the spotbeam becoming to weak (narrow maybe).

I have no issues receiving any of those channels. Do you have the HD Access option on your D* account (I'm pretty sure you need this for HD locals now, but I could be wrong)? If so, try refreshing your services by clicking on this link:

Oops, I mistook the 771 error you are getting for 721. If you are getting 771 then you are not receiving signal for those channels. Check to make sure your signal levels on 103a and 99b are ok.

Press menu on the remote, then goto settings, then setup, then select satellite and finally "View Signal Strength". From there you can see the signal readings from each sat. Post your results here for those 2 sats so we can tell you if they look ok.

I also have lost the NYC HD locals. I also now have 0 on transponder 3 on 99(b). My other transponders are in the 90's. I am not sure if the spot beam narrowed or the HD locals were moved to another satellite. I am in New England. Anyone with any info on this?

It was always spot-beamed...we were (and still should be) within the beam but are having issues. The SD channels from NYC come through just fine, so we're obviously within the beam...

Tp3 on 99b is a spot beam that is not for us. Your issue lies elsewhere.

I get 2, 4, 5, 7 but at times they have some pixelation and audio problems. I am in Brookfield Ct.

With my last HR20 they were unwatchable at times. With the replacement I got this week they only pixlelate for really short times here and there.

I get the 2 4 5 and 7, but only in SD. I used to get them in HD, but now I dont. So I dont know what my problem is then.
