Are HR20-100 available anywhere?

    I need a black HR20 for an installation we are starting next week. Anyone know where I can find one?

    That I know of Ebay is probably your only chance of finding one and you may not even be able to find one on there. There was very few of them made.

    HR20-100... black, are pretty rare to find...
    You would have to probably find one via eBay or other third party.

    They where only one production run of them, and they have been out since January.

    HR20-100s are readily available.

    If you see an HR20 in a retail outlet (Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco) check the model number carefully if you really want an HR20-100 (not an HR20-700). So far every one I've seen at a brick-and-mortar store has been a -700. Might just be a So Cal thing.

    There is one black HR20-100 available on ebay as we speak. $400 starting bid or $500 buys it now. Says gently used for 2 months.:lol:

    I assume you have investigated Krylon black electronic equipment cabinet paint? ;)

    Unless you bought your HR20 for $800 or thereabouts, it is leased -- even if you paid money to a brick-and-mortar store --

    and I cannot stress this enough, spray paint will not only void your warranty but unless it is done with great care it can damage your DVR if paint gets on anything electronic.

    the black ones are labeled as a hr-20-100b the most common are hr-20-100s which are not black
