Actually, my Chocolate Phone has a Better Antenna than the Droid and has a much better range and I can use it at my Stable where I keep my horse but no one else can use their cell phone there so it definitely has a much better antenna to pick up the signal.

Yes ease of use is an issue. But what if you could control 'em with your computer?

Could DTV make it so you didn't need an internet connection to use the Apps like how they do the active screen? Anyone know Trekmovie or Collider.com? Those would make good apps. Maybe adding HollywoodReporter, Zap2it, ENews and TVGuide.com apps? Also adding photo and videos to the news articles would be cool.

Well, no. The computer's upstairs and I don't own a smart phone. I use the TV app for my baseball team during the season and it's just a couple of remote clicks away.

I'll agree with you that its easier to look things up on a PC. Like right now I'm watching NFL ST and typing on my laptop. If I was going to check a score, I would use a website. Its when I don't have my laptop handy, that I like to look up whats hot, local crimes, current temp, favorite sports teams next game and who's walking around in St Peter's square. OK, so the last one is kind of a gimmick, but I do look at it once in a while.

MLB.com has really good stats. So does NFL.com. Only two sports I really care about. I don't even use the MLB site that much. All I care about is the Yankees.

I've read a lot of posts that mentioned problems with the Apps and the performance of the HRs. Haven't even looked at them for a while.

You getting hit with this blizzard? Thought of your problem while perusing the Weather Bug today. We're getting hammered.

Yes, can you imagine an app on the TV screen that you can control by a computer.

Say a batter comes up you see what he has done against a pitcher or maybe where he has hit balls in the current ballpark.

Yeah, it ain't here yet, but you got to start somewhere in order to build on.
