Previous to my setting up my 921, I was using my 508 on my main viewing TV. I've noticed a couple things that I wanted to ask about.

    1. The 921 doesn't seem to have a search feature. One thing that was cool on the 508 was that you could search for a specific term, and it would show those results. The 921 doesn't do this when you go into Themes. Is this something that has been there before and is now missing, or has this always been the case?

    2. The 921 doesn't warn you when you want to stop a recording. When you press stop, it stops. The 508 had a nice feature to ask you to verify that you want to stop it. I thought this was a nice feature to have, as it would prevent unwanted recording stops. On that note, I'd seen a Bug report about recording stops in the Bug reports forum. It was slightly different than what I experienced. Is this a normal thing with the 921, or has it offered a verify step in the past? This would be a good thing to have as well.

Any past users experience would be helpful. I'm a newbie to the 921 world, having just set it up yesterday, and am used to how my 508 functioned (which I liked as for features VERY well).

    Thanks.

To search, press the # key on the remote. That brings up the Search screen. It's a little rougher than the 5xx search at the moment (still), but it does work.

There's currently no warning box popup when pressing STOP will stop a recording. Hence the 2 bug reports that are in the Bug Reports forum currently about it. And, it's one thing that I specifically have asked for.

Doh! Am I blind or what? The #/Search button sitting right in front of my nose. Thanks for the info, Mark. I appreciate it.
