Last night I got an email from DirecTV: Information on your DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier
I have always had the basic Protection Plan from the day I turned up service back in 2001-02. As an employee (AT&T), I changed my service to get the employee discount, and I called recently for a service issue (dish-related) pending resolution, but now it 'appears' that I have been enrolled in something I was never solicited for.
Are there any other employees that are experiencing this? If any of you are out there can you send me a private message. I could not get the CSR to tell me what my next month's bill would be in order to know if I am being charged for something new or not, if I am under some sort of new contractual obligation, etc.
Other than changing programming this past summer to get the employee discount my account hasn't been changed since 2009.
