What is the best, reasonably priced Blu-Ray player available at this time for 1080P. I wrote reasonable because $200 > is out of my league at this time.

I got a Sony for under $100 (I don't remember how much) which works pretty good and even better at 4K.

I have both Panasonic and Samsung players.
They are both very good, however, I think I like the Panasonic better.

    Here's two low priced players with a lot of features......Sony BDP-S6700 3D Blu-ray Player with 4K Upscaling and Wi-Fi $119.99......Samsung BD-J6300 3D Blu-ray Player with 4K upscaling and Wi-Fi $109.99.

I prefer Sony but that's personal preference. Go to the Crutchfield website and look them up. There are other models that cost less but these two give you a lot of bang for the bucks.

Mine is an older model DMP-BDT210 3D player. It has built-in wifi, as do a number of the current models. My complaint about my Samsung BD-H5900 is the quirky control on top of the player. The remote is okay. It's a 2014 model, currently at Amazon for $119.80

I think I'd go looking for a good used Oppo BDP83 before I bought any of those . . .

But you gents aren't the Thread Starter. In post #1 he clearly states $200.00 or more is out of his price range. Hence the reason he was given those model selections.

Notice we said used. As the BDP83 is about 7 years old now and sold for $500 new I would think under $200 for a good used one is very reasonable. The only issue would be finding one as the only people willing to sell would be someone who upgraded to 4K.

I have the Sony BDP S3700. It does not upscale 4K but my TV does. It looks great and I saw it at Walmart yesterday for $59.00.
