Would the S-Video be the best output to use for recording saved shows to DVD?
I just bought a DVD recorder off of eBay and was wondering that.

I am using the RCA jacks for TV1 right now. Can I use both the RCA and S-Video at the same time on TV1? Just wanted to know if anybody else has done this?

Best to use would be components if HD receiver and HD DVD recorder is being used, second would be s-video, third would be composites (RCA) and fourth (and definately last) would be RF. You didn't state which receiver or type of dvd recorder you are using.

Since the forum is "sd dvr" you'd wanna use s-vid(no sd dvrs have comp connections)... and yes, you can use rca and svid
