We had a slight lip synch issue as well. Fortunately it wasn't too bad, it was almost barely noticable.

As has been noted several times there are issues with NBC HD in general and people had some lip sync issues using OTA and even not using an HR20. I can pull out my old Hughes E-86 which doesn't even have a DirecTV subscription anymore and watch NBC OTA and it had the lip sync issues.

    NBC HD SUCKS.

    Period.

    :D

Maybe it's just me but this seems to be a problem more often lately.

    And only on HD channels.

I was having major issues with HDMI; used component and that seemed to clear them up - until Bionic Woman.

    Was quite annoying.

Great picture, the audio delay is frustrating.

It's bad enough I probably won't watch this show anymore. I'll give it one more try next week.

    :(

I watched last night also, I had audio drops using my DD receiver, so I switched to the TV audio and I still had audio drops. So does that mean it was a NBC feed or Directv issue.

I've been having sync issues as well. Pretty bad with Bionic Woman. I also had it pretty bad with Smallville last night on the CW HD OTA. I run my audio and video through an Onyko box to my TV via HDMI. I never noted any sync issues until just recently.

Just got around to watching it here in the DC suburbs (WNBC-4) and it was TERRIBLE. It was the worst audio problems that I have ever had - at the beginning of the show, the audio was behind the picture and by 1/2 way through, the audio was ahead and then behind again by the end. I was using component BTW... :(

The big problem now is that the show is beginning to suck. Forget the audio issues... where is the 'Plot' button on my remote?

i watched this show for the 1st time last night....
had no audio sync problems at all....but agree the
plot or something is missing...it skips forward to far
& seems to leave a lot of questions unanswered...how
many episodes have i missed...is this a continuing plot line
    or what??

Only little pieces are continued. (The fight with Sarah and Jamie's problems with her sister) Otherwise, it's little single-story shows like the old one...

BTW - BIG question: WHY ISN'T THE HEAD GUY'S NAME OSCAR GOLDMAN?!?!?!?!?
It makes me nuts that they didn't use his name in this remake!

The last few minutes of Bionic Woman was useless audio for me. I was watching ch4 not OTA for the NY area.

I agree. If you're going to use the name Jamie Somers, then you should keep the rest of the names: Oscar Goldman, Dr. Rudy Wells, etc... This version is also a lot darker - offices, lab etc...

I don't like the special effects. They look too cartoonish. The way Jamie runs is more like Flash Gordon than what you would expect of a person with fast "mechanical" legs.

I still kind've like the show despite all that. It doesn't hurt that both bionic women are hot.

Oh - and lip sync issues last night were better than the previous 2 episodes. If I didn't think about it, I didn't notice it. Still, pretty patheic that it happned at all at this point in the evolution of HD.

I'm about 2 weeks behind on this show so I will say that the one from 10/10 was very bad sync-wise for the first three minutes and then just bad enough to be annoying after that.
