Tired of using that old remote control and grid channel guide? Want to try out an entierly new and innovative way to discover live television? Shoot us an email (team@boxfish.com) to sign up as a beta tester for our iPad app.

    See: boxfish.com

    A little more about Boxfish:

We are building the index of television.

Boxfish captures every word spoken on television, as it happens.

We process the data in real-time and we use it as a new layer of discovery for TV.

Nice idea, except there is no app in the App Store.

I imagine this is because they are still Beta testing and looking for testers. They will send you the app directly and you have to load it into iTunes yourself and then sync it onto your device. At least that is how it worked the last time I beta tested an app.

You are correct. We are beta testing now. Therefore, the app is not available in the app store. Please send us an email if you'd like to trial the app. You can also see more at boxfish dot com.
