Braves Games on Peachtree TV

    It's going to be another L O N G season for the Braves. Probably not much different than last year. :(

    PeachtreeTV is a local broadcast station (former WTBS) and is carried in HD as a local channel for the Atlanta market by DirecTV. The Braves games are broadcast in 16:9 HD. In fact, I think it is the only programming that PeachtreeTV has at all that is a 16:9 HD broadcast. Most everyting else they show OTA, even movies, is in 4:3 pillar boxed SD. What a waste of HD capable OTA spectrum :rolleyes:

    They have occasionally shown movies and events in HD, but for the most part this is why Comcast here only has it as a part-time channel when the Braves are on :D
