What do you mean? You could swap the hard drive? Or just the card reader?

Where are you located and how much would it cost me?

You can send it to P Smith and he could do it for a small fee. :)

It's not working like that when I search for "Newsroom" on the genie. It just shows me all the on demand episodes. When I search for "Falling Skies" I don't get anything.

Is there something I need to do in order to enable the "very far in the future" feature?

Are you trying to set it on the genie or a different dvr? It may not be wide spread to all dvrs just yet, its in the middle of being rolled out, and sometimes it depends on the channel as well.

The good news is anything on hbo is not a worry, as you can download all their stuff via on demand. I suggest you write down your series links and everything you have recorded on it now and see if you can find most of it on demand or repeats.

I also suggest you use this link...

Its kept up pretty well and is a great way to remember and see whats about to start up on tv.

How much do you have on there? I suggest trying to watch just stuff from it as fast as you can. What exactly does it do? I almost wonder if you can get it working if you unplug the sat feed if it would stop checking the access card and you'd be able to watch all your shows before you actually swap it for the new one.
