    I saw a report on the news about a month or so ago about how many companies were farming out their customer service centers to Asian countries such as India, & the Phillipines. It even mentioned that the CSRs were being taught how to talk American style.

    These companies figured this would reduce the cost of providing customer service. I suspect that this is also true for Echostar. The down side of this IMO, is if you think customer service is bad now. Wait until you have to someone on the other side of the planet who has no clue as to what you are talking about. :shrug:
