Listen man its sounds like you got a good deal. Dont pay any attention to trolls and their nonsense on here. They will not give you anything in writing other than canned responses.

I agree. Enjoy the package. If after 3 months goes by, call back to retention and explain to them you understood the package was not a 3 month trial, and tell them you want it added back on. I am sure they would do that for you. I have had nothing but excellent results from retention, which I only call to renew my red zone channel stand-alone, since the regular CSR's do not have that add on option available to them.

You mentioned "24 months" a number of times. If this deal was for 24 months they "MAY HAVE" locked you into a 2 year contract despite what you think. If so getting out will be quite expensive. You might want to send them an email (so you get a response in "writing") and simply ask "Am I under any contract at this time" and see what they say. Don't call ... email through their web form in your account. Just to be sure. Every time I change ANYTHING that gives me any sort of discount I send that email. I also record every call I make to them (yes, I am in a "1 party" recording state) pertaining to any changes or orders.

You can have select classic with sports the second agent was mistaken. It doesn't matter what deparment you spoke with. The agent probably thought it was an old package that is not available anymore, with the same name, that you can't add or change anything with unless you go to a current version.

Agreements are with equipment upgrades only.

Unless you received a credit as well then the deal will be as good as long as you keep the same services, minus price increases.

Interesting. I am out of contract as of this month. Sounds like it's time to call in and see what they can do...
