Can a larger drive be put in a Genie?

    Subject says it all... Can a two TB be put in as easily as the older units? A few years ago i was able to just add it, restart and had a ready to go blank machine with increased capacity.

    Yes, in fact you can put larger than 2TB on a Genie. Unless you own it though I wouldn't suggest opening it to replace the internal drive. Go eSATA instead, it's easier.

    We really should be harping on how you lose your recordings if the HR fails. Perhaps if we do it constantly D* will finally listen.
