Channel 201, DirecTv Basics has been updated. Now has some guy on it. Also shows the new GUI.
I miss Tanya. :crying_sa
I gotta be honest, I was getting tired of the old one.
I haven't seen the new one yet. And whoa I had certainly never seen that picture of Tanya
yeh where did that come from!
This new dude seems a little bit too calming for me. I think it's the music. The last woman was more attractive for me as well .
Matt and Tonya were and always will be the best of the best though.
No doubt she was awesome.
I kinda like the new 201 channel. Do not like the guy though.
I noticed a disclaimer when the HD basics came up that said the HD channels would be launched October 2007.
Do a google image search and you'll turn up a lot more juicy pics of her.
Oh yeah I have forgotten her last name I showed the picture to my husband. He thought it was funny having a picture like that in D's Forum  But he really didn't think Tanya was that hot or if he did he wouldn't admit to it !rolling
He's lying Dolly.
Here ya go. :hurah:
Thanks How nice of you to give me the link  Now I'll see what my husband says
I think he kind of likes blondes better He liked that Gina
Nolan (not sure I got her name right), but she was in a show call "Sheena" and was also in "Baywatch" for a while.
Strangely, I miss the old Basics channel, with basics for the first half hour, and at the bottom of the hour, Customer News which changed every month.
Then customer news was spun off into a new channel that was called ON DIRECTV I think, then killed off. I know I'm missing some specifics, but eh.
By the way, I noticed a couple of things: (Yes, I'm going to state the obvious. It's Tuesday. OK, now the other obvious: ) 1. The new GUI is included. (Sorry, didn't realize the OP already said that)
Oh, and for some reason this reminds me of the AT&T U-Verse on demand help videos (I downloaded one for reasons still unknown to me )
I'm a little disappointed they didn't say to do a RBR instead of saying to press the red button. C'mon DIRECTV, use the correct language
What is a GUI I haven't seen the new version yet.
GUI is Graphical User Interface--all the colors, pictures, movements that give the menus their look and feel as we work thru them. The Current GUI is the dark blues; the new one has more white, with lighter blues and white lettering.
That pic came from http://www.bobandtom.com
any pics of the new GUI? is it going to be on all receivers or just the hr20?
