"LOS ANGELES — Charlie Sheen is coming back to TV in a new sitcom. The FX channel says it has acquired the series "Anger Management," based on the 2003 Adam Sandler-Jack Nicholson movie. The show will air in summer 2012.
Sheen was fired last March from CBS' "Two and a Half Men" after clashing with the show's producers, and Ashton Kutcher replaced him.
FX said Thursday it has ordered 10 episodes of "Anger Management" and production will begin in early 2012. Writer-producer Bruce Helford will be in charge. He's a TV veteran whose credits include "The Drew Carey Show.""

That raving lunatic needs to be nowhere near a television camera.

Or put away in a loony bin. Dude has serious ego issues.

    And a drug problem.

    And an "escort" problem.

    And an alcohol problem.

    And an acting problem.

Well when I saw the title I automatically said it will fail, then I see FX is picking it up and almost everything they do is gold so this could be interesting.

I can say one thing for sure, look for Charlie "making news" just before summer 2012.

I hope they have some iron-clad performance clauses in his contract.

Maybe this is the REAL reason News Corp is trying to get a 40% increase in their carraige fees.

He's definitely going to be taking a pay cut though. FX is not going to be able to afford his normal salary.
