    Meijer here had their Xmas section already up about 2 weeks before Halloween. Saw that and made a bee line for the alcohol. Tis the season.

    I guess we should be thankful they are not following the retail footprint and starting in August..

    Noticed a week or so before Halloween that Egg Nog was already in some stores (Wal-Mart and Kroger)

    I probably won't listen to it until about 2 weeks before Christmas, and very likely only in the few days before. It will probably play when we set up our Christmas tree as well, but that is really about it....

    Gosh, I love Christmas, decorate out my ying-yang BUT...

    it's way too early!!!

    I'll tune in AFTER Thanksgiving. But since we're on a roll...

    It look like Directv not going to add those other christmas music channels i check the music channels yesterday and today and only christmas music is on the channel 801

    They are there, read the post carefully, they're not 24/7 Christmas music, they mix in a certaint amount of Christmas music in their playlists.

    The 70's channel (804) is playing a Christmas song every half hour and I assume certain selected (but not documented) other channels will follow.

    I've been listening to Pandora as the selections are much better. There are several "channels" for Christmas music including Classic. Just go to their website and add it to your list.
