Probably not. But here is the e-mail response I got from Echostar's Andrew Hurt when I asked again:

"Thanks for your email regarding CNN International. Currently we do not have
any plans to launch this service. However, based upon your enthusiasm for
the channel, I will readdress this request with the Programming Executives."

Well, the door is open a sliver.

If "your enthusiasm" alone brings to the launch of CNN-I, that would be something else ;)

It has been a while since I nagged them. Once when CNNfn left the air and once when CNN-I was added to Voom (before Voom went boom).

Time to nag again ... I WANT MY CNN-I !!!!

Thanks for your email. Unfortunately, since our last conversation in early
July, not much has changed with regards to launching CNN-International.
Until we have a lot of customer demand for this channel, I would be
skeptical that it will be launched anytime soon.

I also sent an e-mail (just yesterday) requesting CNN-I, BBC World, and/or some version of CBC programming. No response yet. Now that SHVERA has eliminated my NY/LA on DirecTV and Newsworld International is gone, there's no reason for me to be loyal to DirecTV anymore.

I 'm beginning to think that the only way anyone is going to effectively plant it in their heads regarding an international news package on Dish is for someone to actually get through on a Charlie Chat , request it, and effectively make a case for its marketability, perhaps even as a supplemental international service on 148/121/61.5. A tall order indeed.

You should have said you wanted to ask how to sign up for credit card auto pay. That's an instant in.

Not as much as it once did. E* has learned that trick.

Some chats they barely take a call ... and still don't mention CC Auto Pay.

I don't know how they handle channel requests. But I remenmber the time when just about every soccer fan was requesting Fox Sports World(Now Fox Soccer Channel) and it took at least a couple of years to get this channel.

I called Charlie on a Chat about 3 months ago with a question about CNN-I, they would not let me ask the question of Charlie.

What other ways  besides Charlie Chat and e-mails can we let them know how many of us want CNN-International (and maybe BBC-World, Deutsche Welle, CBC, etc.)?
