    So, Nick, I gotta ask. . .

Is this the real you?? These pix. seem a bit inconsistent with some of your earlier posts.

I wasn't sure if that was me until Richard verified the veracity of my virtual visage. What do you mean by 'my pics are a "bit inconsistent" with some of (my) earlier posts'? Did you think my "Oscar the Grouch" avatar was really me, or was it the butt-ugly pic of me on a really bad day that had you fooled?

Stop the diuretics, if possible. also nicotine and alcohol. That pretty much leaves pomegranate juice and water. Lots of water. I'm on a heart diuretic. If I drink coffee, cola or even tea, I have a lot of lower back pain. Got this info from a PT (my leg got a charley horse, when he was showing me lower back exercises:D)

That looney tune with the wild blazer actually has a 9/11 connection.

It was his infomercials that had one of the eventual hijackers going into an SBA office demanding a loan/grant for an airplane on the theory he was going to open a combination crop-dusting, charter air service company (as in he would take out the seats during crop dusting season, put them back in for paying passengers).

The woman who he talked to remembered him because she had a rather stunning aerial panoramic picture of Washington DC on her wall and he wanted to buy it from her at almost any price (she wasn't selling)

She had told him he couldn't just walk into the SBA and walk out with money without things like a business plan, applications, etc. The guy was under the impression he could walk in, spin his yarn and walk out with money - he said he saw commercials on tv that said the SBA *had* to give him money if he wanted to open a business!

The person interviewing the woman mentioned that a lot of foreigners don't have the same skepticism of TV that we have because their state-run television simply puts out the official government line - so if it's on TV it HAS to be true.....

No, the 921 does not have spell check. I guess that it would be useful while doing a search for a program. Maybe we should ask for it. Of course, with the Eldon programmers, we would get the British spelling of words and it would take 10 minutes to spell check 'ER'.

By the way, can you explain to me how I could use the DVR to do a spell check on DBSTalk? :D

Well! Here's the answer to the terrorism problem then! We just buy a lot of ads on the TV that say: "The United States is good. Allah blesses the US. The US is our friend."

Yeah, but it says made with real fruit juice, it doesn't say "real fruit juice". One of the biggest thing that you will find on bottles of juice that don't say 100% Juice, is "High-Fructose Corn Syrup", it is in EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, however, it for some reason finds itself in every juice product that is out there that doesn't say 100% juice. Heck, I seen stuff that had sugar and HFCS (high fructose corn syrup), which is nothing but SUGAR. My question has always been, why both.

If I want juice, I always look at the bottle and make sure it says 100% juice. Even at that, the only juices I like are Minute Maid orange juice and Welch's grape juice. :facelick:

    What's the flower?

Gardening is one of my hobbies as well. See

    http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=29065

for a list of gardening projects. My big outside project for this year was to clean out some trees and plant a double row of blue spruce. So far, it has required 14 pick up truck loads to the dump and I am about half thru. The rest can wait until next year. :)

It's just some water lily, not even mine as our water feature is still far from complete.

Your greenhouse looks and sounds great!! How much does that thing cost to heat?! I've always wanted a greenhouse, but there's always so many other things that need done... :(

I run the greenhouse gas heater March, April, May and part of September. I figure it is about $15-20/month. I am taking a break from planting Wichita junipers at the moment. Last year, Walmart had some at the end of the season, marked down from $30 to $6. I picked up about 25, but lost 6 since then. I should have planted them this sprink, but had too many other things going on.

I put in a fountain (a 3' high fairy sitting in a clam shell) in June. Took a 7' circle out of the lawn and built up a 2' high wall with concrete retaining blocks, and put it in the center with flowers around it. I like how it turned out, but I think that I will make it larger next year.

Try Juicy Juice. Last I looked it was 100% apple juice with flavoring added as needed.
