He's not, but I think he does a great job. You'd be surprised how well a blind person can get around in a place they are very familiar with. He's worked there for years so there's no reason to think he's not completely familiar with the place. Not to mention he wasn't born blind, so he's seen his workplace before.

He is always carrying one. That's why you always see the green laser sight when he's walking.

I'll check out anything he's in. He was also in that mini-series Harper's Island last year and was awesome in that.

    That's not what bothers me...

What bothers me is how he keeps looking at things. Blind people tend to turn their ears towards things more since looking doesn't help them sense any better.

Again, it could be the difficulty of an actor to act blind vs being actually blind... but sometimes he seems to be looking at things that he should be listening to instead.

    That's what makes me suspicious.

It's a TV show .. he's trying to look pretty for the camera, not accurate for science.

Just thought I, would chime in that the actor playing a blind agent is playing a person who became blind from injury while on active duty over seas.I,just read a article where the actor mentioned about playing someone blind he said, that he found someone who wasn,t born or blind very early in life would look people in the face some what and not turned away as most people that were born blind .I, guess he put some thought into his role either way I agree with others that the show is worth watching .So, now is in my series list with other network or cable showes that have commercials for veiwing off DVR to watch in less time .

I realize the actor playing the blind is not really blind (he sure got around Harper's Island pretty good last summer), what I meant was I wonder if the character is really blind, or if that's all a ruse or something. I believe the pilot stated he lost his sight in Iraq to an IED if I remember correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong).

The character just doesn't seem blind to me. I don't know if that's the actor's limitation, or if it's purposely written that way.

Since the ears are on both sides of the head it might seem to that he is looking at something when in fact trying to determine directionality. Just a guess.

Now that's an interesting theory! Since Piper's real reason for being there isn't what she thinks, maybe other things aren't as they appear as well? :)

I watched this week's show and noticed Christopher Gorham was featured in a public service commercial for Americans with Disabilities. He talks about portraying a blind character on the show, so it's probably not a part of the story line the writers will fool around with. :) Just my .02.

OK A little late to the party on this one, finally catching up after watching the first two episodes. Series is watchable as is Piper. But as I scan thru the names of the epiosodes something smacks me right in the face. All the episodes are named after Led Zeppelin songs(No Quarter, Communication Breakdown...)

    Anyone else notice this?
