This is one of those situations where you hope 2 + 2 = 4

I don't want it to be on Willow because I can't afford the PPV, I'm a Test match man, one day cricket is interesting to me but not interesting enough to pay good money for.

I would have happily paid 300 bucks for the Ashes but got it for $45 by subscribing to Willow TV, so I'm happy.

The way England are playing ODI's at the moment they have no chance anyway so there's no point in buying it.

When you scroll through the channel guide on DTV for Willow it just says 'Highlights,' and that can only mean one thing.

Just watching the opening ceremony now in SD. Obviously not as good as HD but certainly adequate.

It would be great if Willow Cricket on DISH Network and DirecTV would be in HD

This is exactly why I would not sign up for any package like this in advance!

That said - presumably you're getting this from the feed via DISH or DirecTV. I can't figure out how to get Willow Cricket channel from their website right now.

Enjoying things, even with lopsided matches, but I was a little bothered that D* didn't follow their actual guide this morning. I had set Kenya/NZ overnight on 497-1 and Sri Lanka/Canada on 498-1, since that was what the guide showed (it also showed the match on 497-1).
Of course, D* only showed it on 497-1! So I missed all of Sri Lanka's innings...

Oh, well. there aren't a large number of two game days and now I'll be more careful.

Also, I wish Willow would get some more commercials :) I'm tired of hearing about Amy!

Willow TV gets more ridiculous by the day. They're showing re-runs of the WC games but I presume they don't want to upset those that have paid for the PPV so they've basically decided to completely get rid of any advertised schedule, so nobody knows what is on and when. India - Bangladesh is on at the moment but there was nothing to say it was on.

I didn't subscribe to the PPV and don't care whether they re-run the games or not on Willow TV, but i'm now subscribing to a channel that has no schedule, and for that reason I'll cancel the subscription until the test matches start again, which won't impact Willow one bit but it's the principle that's wrong here.

*EDIT* Just spoke to DTV and cancelled Willow and he confirmed my thoughts and said he'd taken quite a few calls from people who were also cancelling because they cannot find out what is on and when, and also confirmed the reason is because they don't want to upset the people who have paid for the PPV. I completely understand why they're doing it but don't nderstand why they think people would pay good money to subscribe to a channel for which there is no way of finding out what's on.

I'll have it switched back on when the Test Matches start again.

Not on TV, no. They're showing highlights but have made it impossible to know when they'll be on by abandoning a schedule.

LOL!!!! I agree. I'm going to use Xoom for all my money matters for the rest of the tournament!

I'm really enjoying these HD broadcasts from DTV! Becoming quite a cricket fan. And not getting any sleep - most games start at midnight my time. Ugh!
