Does anyone have a list of the schedule for HD locals for Direct? And what cities have they done so far?

If you go into the site and type your zip code, it will bring up all the cities covered...don't think it shows upcoming cities, though.

DirecTV has 12 markets up, and expect another 24 markets shortly. The 24 markets have not been announced. DirecTV has these markets in HD:

    New York
    Los Angeles
    Chicago
    Philadelphia
    San Francisco
    Boston
    Dallas
    Washington, DC
    Atlanta
    Detroit
    Houston
    Tampa

Dish Network has announced their plans for 48 markets. It wasn't in a press release; it has been all over Dish Network's marketing, either through Charlie Chats or through trade shows. Generally, though, some of these have to be taken with a grain of salt. This doesn't mean these markets will actually be available anytime soon. By the time Charlie announced that Baltimore would available and when it was actually available was something like six years. This post is a list of markets that Dish Network has planned for HD delivery. As of now, only 4 markets are available:

    New York
    Los Angeles
    Chicago
    Nashville.
