I have a HR22-100 that the Hard Drive crapped out on.

I have the protection plan. My question is if I call they will swap it out, but will they swap it out with the new HR24-500.

I have MRV and I was wondering since I have MRV the would send out the HR24-500 or would they send out an older receiver with a Deca?

Directv will swap it out, but can't guarantee the model number. Since all HR2x's are deca-compatible, you could get any model. You could try talking the csr into a credit, if you get your own HR24 from an online retailer.
