Do you guys know what the schedule is for Dexter season 1 on the 101 net? I have the first 4 episodes but the guide does not show anything else coming up. I tried looking on the website but it didn't have any details.

    Thanks,
    Erik

Im not sure if this would work but if you press to record the season then go into the Manage Recording tab on your menu you should have an option to view episodes. This might show you how far in advance it runs. I know a did something similar with The Nine but have tried recently.

Thanks, but I already tried that. It doesn't have anything coming up.

Also, the 1st run only option didn't work at all on the 4 I have recorded. I had to physically record each one. I recorded and watched all the Sleeper Cell shows a while ago and I didn't have these problems at all. 1st runs recorded once a week and none of the reshowings recorded.

Thanks. I just searched again and now they show up, at least the next 2 weeks worth. It must have either been my DVR or the guide data wasn't up to date. Either way the recordings are scheduled now and all is good. Thanks for your help.

Avoid 'Dexter' on channel 101. It's edited, and that takes a lot away from this show. The entire series (seasons 1-3) is currently available on Showtime on Demand, unedited.

Really? Deadwood and Oz are being shown as they were on HBO. I wonder why 101 would run the edited CBS version of Dexter..

We're enjoying the edited version, aside from the horrible audio. We also watched the frist episode of The Nine and the audio was bad too. Hard to make out all the dialogue in both. And neither has CC to try and catch it...

Another problem...while watching one of the first season eps, it cut to commercials before the show was over. Then it never came back. Especially bad because
it cut off when Doakes was being saved by the other cops. Then it WOULD have cut to Dexter finding Stanley Tucci and calling deb.
It probably missed the last 5 minutes.

Similar to why A&E runs the edited versions of The Sopranos. They still get the ratings.
