I had a little glitch watching "When in Rome" this weekend.

    http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?p=2514617#post2514617

It locked up tighter then a drum and I had to do an RBR. No response from the remote or the front panel.

Watched Wolfman last night. No issues.

With that said - it wasn't the movie I intended to watch, but I only had it and Alice on the theater room DVR. No ability to access the downloaded movies on the downstairs receiver really bums me out. :(

Watched the 2nd movie I have received since the beginning. No issues, other than I have gotten only 2 movies in almost 5 weeks out of 14 I have selected (I deleted the first 7 the other day and started over).

I haven't been dilligent in reading this forum lately, but what is the official stance on DirecTV Cinema over MRV? I cannot see anything unless its on the local box.

Don't know if it is official, but my experience mirrors others here. If I authorize the purchase on the downloading DVR, I can then view it on any of the other DVRs.

I just did that with "The Book of Eli" I had it in my queue downstairs and it never showed up and I just saw it in the MBR DVR and purchased it and it shows right up in the list through MRV. I then just stopped it and resumed it downstairs and it played flawless.

I watched Book of Eli last night with no issues. It didn't show up over MRV until I purchased it.

Maybe we'll be seeing more downloads now that D* added more cinema channels. Hopefully thats going to speed things up "soon". :)

Viewed Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and had no issues. I think this trial shows the new DirecTV Cinema will be a good update to the service if DirecTV can improve the speed the movies are received for older titles.

The only movies that I have not been able to watch from Greg's list are Youth in Revolt and Hot Tub Time Machine. I guess my DVRs do not like comedy.

I was not credited for movies already on my hard drive that I selected from 1096, including Crazy Heart and The Wolfman. I expected to be charged for movies that were pushed via the old method but I wonder if everyone was.

I haven't received a download in about two weeks on my HR22, including items I've had listed since the beginning. And I haven't received a single thing on my HR24-500.

Nothing here yet, either, though I just queued up my first five HR24-500 1080p moves a couple of days ago. Prior to that, my HR24-100 wasn't showing me any available d/l's on 1096.

Of course now, 1096 has disappeared, but the movies I cued on 1096 are listed as cued on 1100.

1096 is back and with new movies available. Hopefully there have been other changes as well and there will be more movies available and at a faster pace. I noticed that Doctor Zhivago is now even available to be selected. If you have not ever seen Doctor Zhivago it is a great classic and I encourage you to watch it.

I added "Hot Tub Time Machine" to both of my participating receivers tonight. We'll see if anything happens.

    How did you add it?

Under 1096 that movie has a green check next to it which should indicate that it is in my playlist, but it isn't.

I can't add it to the Que and can't play it either.

A Single Man is showing up for SD resolution as well as 1080p. Aren't we only supposed to see HD stuff in 1096?

Hot Tub Time Machine has a green check mark, but I doubt I will watch it :sure:
