1096 has been unavailable for over 24 hours now.
1096 is back up.
"Hot Tub Time Machine" has been added BUT it has a green check mark next to it but it is NOT on my playlist.
Further if you select the movie from ch 1096 you will NOT get an option to "add to que" NOR to "watch now" or play.
Tried to watch Alice in Wonderland. Big blue pop up covering lower right quadrant of my screen telling me "To order this movie visit directv.com/ppv or call 1-800..."
Misc. options on my HR20 won't allow me to issue a report. Did the IAMANEDGECUTTER twice to no avail.
EDIT: I am an idiot. I had to power cycle my WET610 to reconnect to the friggin internet.
Hot Tub Time Machine is listed in the queue on one of DVRs but is not listed on the others. The one it is listed on has an eSata drive attached. On the DVRs that it is not listed in the queue it shows up in my list with a K next to it. On the DVR that I was able to add it to my queue on it is not on my list and does not give me an option to play it. All of the other shows on 1096 that have a green mark next to them give you that option. Since it is a movie about the 1980s maybe I should be using Beta to get it to play on 1096.
So, can I watch this on the other DVRs and be credited or what is the consensus. When I attempted to add it on 1096 it told me the title was added and would be available for instant watching. I thought it was in the queue on the other DVRs and I believe it was. Can I no longer add the movie to my queue on those machines because the movie is now on my list? I am confused. If I watch the movie is it part of the field trial or not. I will wait to hear back from all of you and hopefully Greg as well.
Not sure if this issue was due to movie "Dear John" expiring on 7/2 and my wife watching it at 10 PM on 7/2 so I sent a report after she told me about it.
When selecting to play "Dear John" there was never a purchase option, it just played. Five minutes in a channel not purchased 721 message came up and then it FF to the end until the delete option came up. After the same thing happened three times the movie was deleted. It doesn't appear under purchases either.
Does this happen when a movie is close to the expiration time? I would like to know for future reference.
I had the same thing but I hit ">" button on my remote twice (while in the guide with the green check) and it came up and played fine.
I must be dumber than a fence post. I get the Miscellaneous fine but don't see anything there to generate a report?
If you do not have an internet connection then the option to send a report will not be there.
That's it then! Thanks.
Still nothing playable on my HR24-500 yet, but scanning through my History, I see that I have two entries for "2012" both for 10:21 p.m. last night and both showing "Canceled" because the program became unavailable. As far as I can tell, that must indicate that it was supposed to be recorded during that time slot, but because the box was in the middle of a CE download/reboot cycle, it was unable to do so. However, the program is now gone from my Queue. It seems to me that in such circumstances, the program should be added back into the Queue rather than drop off.
EDITED TO ADD: Okay, maybe the fact that "2012" is no longer even listed as being available might explain it.

I now show in my PLAYLIST an entry for "Hot Tub Time Machine" with a blue circle black "K" in front and indicating it came from 9981 *DTV.
The HISTORY log indicates that it was recorded yesterday at 10:00p. However, I downloaded the latest CE, 0x3fc, yesterday starting at 11:03pm and completing at 11:22pm. So "Hot Tub Time Machine" must have been recording when I forced the CE download and then picked up recording again after the new CE came up at 11:22p.
Whats interesting is that this movie shows with a green arrow in the 1096 list of ALL available movies and was never in my QUEUE or ordered by me. If this movie was pushed to my unit why is it shown in the PLAYLIST?
Since the source is shown as 9981 *DTV I assume that if I play it I won't be reimbursed for it so for now I will not play it.
This post probably belongs in the week 6 thread but it is currently locked so I've posted it here.
I have the same question regarding Hot Tub Time Machine but have not received an answer back. I believe the movie was added to my list because I placed it in my queue but I am unsure. Additionally, the movie no longer shows up in my queue.
Had to delete all 3 that had downloaded from my Q: Alice in Wonderland, Shutter Island and She's Out of My League. When I tried to view each of them I got a big blue ovlerlay covering the bottom right quadrant of my scree instructing me to call DirecTV or log on to directv.com to order the PPV. My HR20 is connected to the internet but I didn't get an option to order from my remote.
