Why isn't it showing up on the iPhone and iPad app then? Previous new HD channels have shown up 2 or 3 days early for me on the iPhone app.

So what, DIRECTV has had that in SD since before Dish did, what's your point?

FYI, from an earlier post of mine: "I watch Universal Sports online connected to my HDTV. The quality is much better than D* SD. With your D* subscription you get premium content free."

...and? What does that have to do with DirecTV. This may come as a shock, but there a section of the forum set aside for Dish Network customers to discuss...Dish Network.

My goodness, we have a feisty bunch on both sides posting today about Universal Sports HD...

And I haven't even posted about the lack of DIY HD in months. Hadn't looked at this thread in a while, but see it's still the same banter and tone. Some things just never change.

Thanks ...that's good to know. This is one of the channels that is at the top of my wishlist and maybe this development is a sign that they may be switching over to HD soon. Fingers crossed...

Boy...from the lukewarm reaction this morning, I guess Tru HD didn't thrill the masses. ;)

    Still waiting for TCM-HD. :)

It's 9:30 am ET. People are at work and these criminal trials aren't exactly non-stop entertainment. Wait til primetime...

The best addition so far, in my book. Well besides when we got RSNs in HD.

While there doesn't seem to be a large reception for Tru HD on this thread I'm sure there's a audience for it. Like you I'm looking forward to TCM HD along with BBCA HD, FMC HD, and H2 HD.

I am also waiting for H2 and BBCA hd feeds. I have looked at what TruTV has to offer and it does not excite me one bit. For those who like its offering then congratulations for getting it. I am still waiting for something new in hd that I would like to watch.
